Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to my Over The Edge Repel supporting the Boy Scouts of America North Florida Council. Enjoy the pictures and video of my experience here!
I'm an adrenaline junkie and standing on the edge is one of my favorite places to be. Whether peeking over the edge of a cliff, jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, or urban highrise repelling, I'm all over it. So when I got a chance to repel 32 stories down the EverBank Center in Jacksonville, FL I jumped on it.
The view from the top of the EverBank Center is incredible. Its not the highest building in Jacksonville but its close. From the top you can see all the way to Jacksonville Beach.
The only place to get a better view of the city would be skydiving. I got a chance to go skydiving back in 2005. That was an incredible experience too.
My repel wouldn't have been possible without those who contributed to the fundraising efforts. Thank you so much for supporting the Boy Scouts of America, a great organization teaching young men valuable life skills and work ethic.
I hope you enjoyed the video and these pictures. Lets do it again next year!!
First peek Over The Edge
Here we go!
Getting ready
In position
Standing on the edge
Great view
My view each time I passed a window section
About half way down I found Amy and Sienna on the ground waiting for me
At one point my backup repel line locked up (cause I was enjoying myself too much)
